This is the BRS Parachute that is recommended for the Searey Aircraft.  

It only weighs 34 lbs (15kg) and will be mounted just above the wing. 

I hope I will never need to use it, but for under $4000, it’s worth the safety.

Also, I will be installing PVC pipes under the seat so that the seat will be flat instead of the hull support right under my back.
