I had a problem when selecting a place to build the Searey airplane, I did not have a hanger or garage in which to build it in.  The one thing I did have is a flat bed trailer that is 22’ of loading space and a 14,000 lb gross weight.  
So what should I do? Well I had a good idea about how pickup trucks had campers on them and why not build a hanger cap on the trailer ...but 24’ x 8’ is not a very large amount of space for building a plane.    So I thought about it and after looking at my motorhome (with 2 slide-outs), I decided to build a trailer box with slide-outs on it.

So here are a few pictures on the building process for the “trailer/hanger”.   The trailer hanger is a total of 24’ long and 15’ wide (with the slide-outs extended). I also wanted enough height in the trailer so the ceiling height is 9’6”.
